I imagine it as if there were a separate mod where you can play with other people. Picture a list of servers you can join, each with a different theme: school roleplay, work roleplay, or just pure real‑life roleplay like you see in GTA Online, SA-MP, FiveM, and so on.
Imagine you create your character and you want to live out the life of someone like Cyrus, Malfoy, Voldemort. You create a different story, whether it’s just for fun, to make soap‑opera‑style videos, or even movies, like people already do in DayZ. They play and narrate at the same time.
Personally, I think that’s really cool, because I really like soap operas.
There are a ton of Harry Potter fan sites out there where people tell alternate stories to the original, like Harry Potter ending up with Hermione and having a child with her, and so on.
Now imagine being able to show that in the game. You could do it with three people: one is you, another is your child, and the third is your wife.
In GTA V itself I’ve already seen college multiplayer modes and people seem to have a lot of fun with it. You could do the same thing with Hogwarts school.
For me, Hogwarts Legacy urgently needs an online multiplayer mode.
