It’s a standard brand, not too bad and not too good. Regarding Nvidia, the best ones for me are Gigabyte and MSI. Asus had a controversy in the middle of the year where they weren’t honoring product warranties and the customer service was horrible. I don’t know if it’s improved, but if it has, it’s also a good brand.
Regarding AMD, Sapphire is the best, both in build quality and customer service. PowerColor and XFX are also very good for Radeon.
Between Nvidia and AMD, go with what you care about more. If you work with Blender or anything related to AI, Nvidia is better. Now, if you don’t work or don’t work much with those topics and focus more on video or image editing, Radeon cards are on the same level.
If you don’t do any productivity work and just want to game, it also depends. If you care about ray tracing and DLSS, Nvidia is better, but an RTX 4060 Ti can’t run it well because it only has 8 GB of VRAM, and for ray tracing you need at least 12 GB, besides the fact that not every game will support it or look good. Hardware Unboxed has 2 very good videos comparing the titles that have ray tracing. If you don’t care about any of that and just want to open the game and play, you can go with Radeon, which is better in raw power. The equivalent to the 4060 Ti is the RX 7700 XT, which already comes with 12 GB of VRAM.
