I can’t really explain why. But there were a few games that I bought, played for a bit, and then just gave up on.
The first was Cyberpunk. There’s a part with a boss where I’ve already tried everything, but I just can’t get past it. I played for several hours, really liked the game, but that part totally discouraged me. I know I could just look up online what I’m supposed to do, but I prefer to figure things out on my own.
The second game was No Man’s Sky. Great game, beautiful graphics, but after a while I have no idea what I’m supposed to do or where I’m supposed to go. I just don’t understand the point.
Another one is GTA V. There was a mission where I stopped, I don’t even remember which one anymore. It was already getting boring having to keep switching characters just to continue the missions. In the end, nowadays I only play GTA Online.
DayZ ended up the same way. I no longer have the patience to stay there, waiting for the enemy for dozens of minutes, looking for supplies and clothes. I just can’t do it anymore.
For me it is red dead redemption 2, it is fantastic and all but I find it too much. I keep thinking, maybe once I get a hang of it , I will enjoy it. I guess not the right time for it now.

Did you ever play the first Red Dead Redemption, or did you go straight to 2?
I’ve always heard great things about that game, that the story is amazing and all that. But I never really got interested and never played it either, even though I’m a huge GTA and Rockstar Games fan.
I directly started with rdr2, before that I had watched the gameplay for rdr1. It is really good, just can’t get myself to play it though. Now that you mentioned it, I am more of a Sony fan. My number 1 has to be Days Gone, I just love it.

I know exactly what that’s like. As we get older, we kind of lose interest in things, don’t we? I’m in that phase too.
Days Gone is that motorcycle game, right? I really wanted to have it too, but I found it pretty expensive.
