Man, CS 1.6 is an old game. I think it was the first FPS I ever played. I used to go to the LAN house at night to do an all-nighter. I’d spend the whole night just on CS 1.6 playing in LAN mode. 5v5 with everyone from the LAN house. It was really good. The maps we played the most were that pool one, speedrun, and another snowy map whose name I can’t remember. It was just too good. Not to mention the Chaves (El Chavo) map, right…
Anyway, the best thing about CS 1.6 was the mods: the surf one, that one in the jail… But one I saw recently that’s really popular is the kite mod. It’s really fun. You buy accessories, choose the kite model (Carrefour, Ferrari, etc.), which can you use to hold the line, like a Nescau can… It really is a lot of fun. You can even cut kites by hand if you position yourself well on the various maps.
