I never really understood this. Especially for consoles, which are physical things you bought. I know everyone needs to read the fine print in the terms of use, but man, the video game console is yours. Every little component in it belongs to you. How can they ban you and make your console unusable? Is that even legal?
With Steam I kind of get it, also because their ban isn’t global. You only get banned in the game where you actually did something wrong. You just can’t play multiplayer anymore. That I can sort of understand.
But imagine, one day you’re there playing, minding your own business, and out of nowhere: WHAAAM!!!
