GTA 6 and other games could really use Spotify integration

These days, most people already have a Spotify subscription. It’s really annoying when you’re there playing the game and have to Alt-Tab out to go to YouTube/Spotify and other apps just to put on some music and enjoy it while I play. That cycle starts all over again when the song ends, when the volume gets too loud, or when the game’s vibe changes

In FiveM, Rockstar’s GTA V Online, a lot of Brazilian servers already have this working. You press a key, the game opens the phone or tablet already on the Spotify screen, and then all you have to do is open search, type in whatever song you want, and it hits play. And here’s the coolest part: you choose whether you want to play the music on the JBL speaker or in the car. And in both modes, all the players hear what you’re listening to; the volume depends on the distance. It’s pretty realistic, and I think this should exist in every open-world game.

Not in FPS games, though, because the maps are too small.
