I’m going to post because I think since they’re public profiles, there’s no problem.
Mine is the default blue profile with an old ugly avatar. I didn’t find any customization options. I didn’t even know you could put a gif as the background.
A friend of mine has a really cool one too, but he says it’s exclusive for those who bought a Steam Deck, and the others you can buy using points. But how do you get those points? Do you have to pay money?

Every time you buy something on Steam, you receive points that are used in the little store to customize your profile.
you have to level up on Steam, every 10 levels you get a showcase, then you can put favorite games, artwork, rare achievements, that kind of stuff. And to level up, games give you some trading cards, they never give you all the ones you need, so you buy the missing ones, which are usually just a few cents, and by completing the game’s card set you craft a badge and it gives you XP and some little things like backgrounds and such, and with that you level up.
