Is it worth ordering an OLED monitor for gaming?

I heard people say it’s the best of our time. The black color is truly black. Infinite contrast, more realistic colors and all that. But is it really worth it? The price difference compared to another monitor of the same size is absurd. A 27-inch monitor, for example, is 5k. Tanka:
