I’ll admit I’m jealous of people who have a console, and it’s GTA 6’s fault.

I’ve always thought gaming PCs were way better for games. You just do an upgrade here and another there, and you’ll always be able to play in 4K. On consoles it’s a bit more limited. There are lots of games that don’t even reach 60 FPS. And it’s not just that — I’ve never liked playing with a controller, although of course there are some exceptions. For example, racing games are perfect with those two buttons that look like a dog’s nose, but the gameplay is really bad in FPS games like Call of Duty.

But now, in 2026, this PC vs. console rivalry has kind of caught my attention, especially since Rockstar announced GTA 6 only for consoles for now. I put together a gaming setup recently, and I don’t think I’ll be able to stand watching everyone else play while I can’t. I don’t even like consoles, but I think I’m going to have to buy one. And since there are optimizations for PlayStation, I think I’ll end up going with Sony’s console.
