Having to keep tweaking settings for games shouldn’t be necessary every time you install a new one.
Have you ever stopped to think how much time you lose over an entire lifetime just fixing settings?
The necessary tweaks include many things, such as lowering or raising mouse sensitivity, changing shortcuts and keyboard language, disabling/turning down vsync, changing resolution, turning effects on or off, etc. etc. etc.
A lot of time wasted, only for it sometimes to be just another game you’re not even going to play that much.
But why don’t developers make a universal adaptation for all of this at once? You would create a “config.txt” (or .cfg) file that would contain all your precious customizations in text format, saving you a lot of time for all your future game installations.
In my dreams, this file would look like this:
Resolucao=xxx
Sensibilidade do mouse = Alta/Baixa/Media
Vsync= On/off
Graficos= Ultra/Alto/Medio/Baixo
Efeitos= Tudo off/Tudo on
LinguaDoTeclado= Ingles/Portugues
ModoDesempenho= On/off
And that’s it.
