Is there already a scent system for games?

I’ve been seeing startup articles about this for a long time. You “plug” a machine into your PC and it releases a perfume according to what’s happening on your screen while you play.

Example: playing FIFA? Here, take this smell of grass!

Anyway. These projects always seem to flop. They don’t last long. I think that, from the point of view of a more immersive gamer experience, this is really the only thing we’re missing right now. We already have VR, headsets with great and very realistic sound, controllers for everything: plane, car, Formula 1, tractor… this is the only thing missing to complete the kit! And I still dream of seeing a big brand doing this.

Maybe someday.

Playing while smelling the environment must be surreal.

There definitely would be technology to do it. In fact, years ago there was actually a project, it was like a little box with various fragrances and they would mix depending on what appeared on the screen.
