I need tips on how I can start taking better care of my gaming setup. I’ve never done anything to it. I don’t even dust it and I have no idea where to start. The fans are full of dust and I want to avoid overheating, how can I do that? Do I need a special vacuum cleaner? Should I take any kind of precaution?
I also know I need to change the thermal paste on the processor and the graphics card, but I’m really scared of doing it myself and something going wrong. Do you have any recommendations on what not to do? For the processor I’ve even watched some tutorials, I know you have to put a small amount of thermal paste and it has to be a good quality one, right? But what about the graphics card? It looks like you have to take it apart? Isn’t that very risky?
I’d like to do the right thing to increase my PC’s lifespan without damaging anything.
