This was already a craze some time ago. Everyone wanted to have as much RGB as possible. On the keyboard, on the mouse, on the mousepad for both, on the headphone stand… and now I think this trend has been slowly fading away. And it’s a good thing, to be honest. Isn’t it?
I think it really gets in the way of gamer immersion. I personally usually play in the dark. So I think lights flashing all the time would get in my way. Especially those that keep changing color. I’d lose focus on the game.
Nowadays, you can control these parts, turn them off, change the color, etc. But there are still some you can’t: the cooler on my processor, for example.
