Well, I’ve been testing Game Pass for PC for exactly 14 days. I’ve really been enjoying it. There are lots of great games, like Starfield, Day Z, Hogwarts Legacy, Black Ops 6, and many other good and current games that are still coming out.
Knowing that, today I wanted to renew my subscription and leave the free trial. But for some reason, the automatic card payment failed. When I tried to pay with a new card, I couldn’t even add it. And when I tried to pay with the old card, I got an error saying I hadn’t set up the billing address. Even though the address was both on the Microsoft account site and the Game Pass billing page. Anyway. I tried everything, added my middle name, second surname, and nothing worked, and in the end the only thing that solved it was: cancel the subscription and start a new one. That solved the problem 100%, and I was able to continue with my subscription.
If anyone else is going through this and can’t renew, here’s my tip.
