I was looking at the announcement here. I read the article in the announcement post that’s locked, but I didn’t really understand it… Is there a difference between Threads, Mastodon, and Lemmy? Or is it all the same server and those 3 are just different UIs?

Anyway, I’ve already created my account on Mastodon. I thought it was cool that you can use gifs in the profile banner. I just didn’t find many profiles that speak Portuguese. It’s mostly foreigners.
