The guy literally says that with current technology it’s possible to run GTA 6 even on a cellphone — we’ve already seen this with Cyberpunk 2077, where you can play on Android and iOS. There are lots of phones that are just as powerful as some already‑released consoles. Just look at the specs of a ROG Phone 5, S24, and so on…
But even so, the dev thinks it’s absurd to want to release it for the Switch 2 and offer an inferior gaming experience that’s not even worth the technical effort.
What he meant here is that GTA VI technically can run on a Switch 2. But it’s still way too early for Rockstar to know if it’s worth developing and selling it for a new console version, etc. We don’t even have the long‑awaited PC version yet. So maybe the Switch 2 version will still take a while. Or maybe it won’t happen at all.
