Solution to the Vanguard VAN 128 error lol

I was playing my usual LoL today and out of nowhere the Vanguard VAN 128 error popped up. How do I fix it?

  • I’ve already followed all the steps described on Riot’s official website, which says to run a CMD

  • I’ve never downloaded anything suspicious on this PC. I don’t use anything that could give me an advantage either. I’m already good naturally.

  • I also followed everything they say in this video and nothing worked:

Could it be some problem with my internet or was I banned for something I don’t know about?

EDIT: Opening Device Manager and disabling Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer solved it for me
