Today I was looking for some cheap gaming PCs on Facebook Marketplace and I stumbled on a “gaming notebook”, a Nitro 5, really cheap. 8 GB of RAM, the video said it was 1080p. Then I spotted where the scam was: the graphics card wasn’t dedicated, it was onboard, integrated with the processor. It was a Radeon Vega Mobile GFX on a Ryzen 5 2500U
I know it’s not that terrible. But the laptop has 8 GB of RAM that it still has to share with the “graphics card”.
First time I’ve ever seen a “gaming PC” that can’t run games.
Impressive.

Watch out for those “gaming PC” traps — just because the seller put “gaming PC” in the title doesn’t mean it really is one. Speaking of which, it’s pretty hard to find a “gaming laptop” for less than R$ 3,500.00. I’d suggest either buying a cheap laptop that can handle everyday tasks, or a tablet, which is better in terms of portability.
About your question, it’s possible. As long as the game runs at a low resolution (that is, lower than 1280x728 — the Switch’s resolution), capped at 60 fps (with a 60 Hz display), and with plenty of RAM (at least 16 GB).
It also depends on how well the game is optimized — sometimes you’ll run into a AAA title that doesn’t even run properly with a dedicated GPU, let alone an integrated one.
