I see a lot of famous companies advertising gamer services. They promise security and sometimes even talk about other benefits that I really doubt exist, like speed.
The point is: even if my IP is exposed, what difference does that make? My IP changes every time I turn on the PC. It’s rare to see someone with a static IP, isn’t it?
And even if it’s static, the operating system’s own firewalls already deal with that.
So what would be the advantage of paying for something like this?
