In the latest Assassin’s Creed trailer, dedicated to Japan, eagle-eyed players noticed some very interesting details that show Ubisoft is mixing up China and Japan. But let’s be honest, who hasn’t done that at some point, right? We can let it slide!

In one part of the trailer, you can see a xun flute, a Chinese musical instrument.

The trailer’s soundtrack features music played using a guzheng, another traditional Chinese instrument.

Some architectural elements in the video are clearly Chinese as well. More specifically, from the Tang dynasty.
