How to fix the “storage not found” error on PlayStation

Good morning,

I bought a used PS4 a while ago. Everything was working normally until then. The console came without an SSD, so I bought a 512GB one, bought games, and was able to install them without any issues.

But yesterday I went to turn it on and a black screen appeared with the message “Cannot start. The appropriate system storage was not found.”

I’ve already tried several ways to fix it: removing and putting the SSD back in, blowing on it, blowing into the slot, I’ve already formatted it using Safe Mode, and nothing works. Could my SSD have burned out? Can it be repaired?
