Ever since I updated the driver for my graphics card (RX 6700 XT), this problem started. My games, which I was already playing before the update and didn’t change anything in, started to use a lot of GPU and almost no CPU. I also noticed it’s making the card run really hot – the fans spin much harder and are a lot louder. I tried lowering things in Afterburner, but it only made it worse.
I saw that I can restore my Windows to a date before the driver update. I think it’s also possible to roll it back in AMD’s control panel. But I’d like to know if there are other things I could try, because I also don’t think it’s a good idea to use an outdated driver, right?
