Hey guys, I just got a PC from a neighbor. Its specs are pretty modest. It has integrated graphics, an SSD and 16 GB of RAM. He told me he played GTA V just fine, but with everything on minimum.
So I wanted to know if there’s a way to improve that, give it a little boost. Is there any program that does everything automatically, where you just need to click 1 button?
Today I think I’ll format it to leave Windows in “gaming mode”, so it’ll already be optimized for that, right? Then I’ll install the most up-to-date drivers and leave the minimum possible stuff running in the background on Windows (no Discord, animated wallpaper, etc.)
And lastly, of course, every game I install, I’ll already set everything to minimum and with every kind of effect disabled. Grass, water, reflections, etc.
Besides that, what else can I do to get the maximum FPS possible for free without spending money?
I don’t need pretty graphics, what matters is playing without lag.
