I see that the gaming community is very divided on this subject. Most of it is just criticism, saying that designers are going to lose their jobs to AI, etc.
Yesterday I went to make a comment on a famous gaming Discord, praising it, and I was treated very badly. They even asked me to set a day and place so we could meet up and fight. Crazy stuff.
I know that AI is a very sensitive topic to talk about in 2026, and that it really has been taking the place of many jobs, from devs, designers, writers, etc… But let’s agree on this: if it’s good, it’s progress for the gaming industry, and if the option can be turned on and off (at the player’s discretion) then why not?
