Have you ever stopped to wonder what Xbox’s strategy is in releasing Indiana Jones on its main competitor, the PlayStation?

This information was confirmed through a short video released by Microsoft at gamescom. These are not speculations. This caught everyone by surprise because Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, had previously stated that Indiana Jones would not be sold on other platforms.

“I am convinced that over the next 5 or 10 years, games exclusive to a single platform will increasingly decrease. The number of players on Xbox has never been as high as this year.”
It’s clear that the more systems you make your game available on, the more you sell. You shouldn’t leave anyone out anymore just because the platform is different.
Indiana Jones is scheduled to be released on December 9, 2024 for Xbox and PC, and between March and June 2025 for PS5.
