I’ve always thought it was really crazy to see my favorite game have its story told in an actual movie. Honestly, that hasn’t happened that many times. From what I can remember now, there was Resident Evil, of course, and also the League of Legends show, Arcane, which was insanely good for anyone who likes a bit of LoL — I loved it. It wasn’t exactly a movie, more like an anime-style series.
Another classic we can’t forget is Hogwarts Legacy, which kind of shows us the Harry Potter movie series. I even think there was supposed to be a Hogwarts Legacy 2.
Another great game that got a screen adaptation was The Last of Us. That one had to be on the list, but I admit I still haven’t watched it yet — just haven’t had the time.
Besides that, there was also Fallout, which I actually watched and really liked. In fact, I started watching the series before I started playing the game. I really enjoyed both. I thought the series was very faithful to the game.
And Tomb Raider? That one just had to be there, right? That one’s a legend.
What about you all, which game do you think is still missing a movie/series/anime version?
In my opinion, what’s really missing is a series based on Detroit: Become Human.
