I’m referring to those setups that are mounted on the wall, completely open, without the protection of a case. Usually it’s just a metal plate with everything already fixed onto it.
I believe one of the advantages is the temperature of the components. But what would the others be?
Wouldn’t dust be a problem?
And future risks of water infiltration in the wall, humidity, etc.? Wouldn’t all of that be risks that could be avoided?
Not to mention the risk of burning something if someone touches the motherboard or another component, right?
