One of the first steps is choosing a good server, which players call a “city.” After that, you need to study for the allowlist. Usually, big and reputable servers do this in 2 stages: the first is answering a questionnaire, and the second is an audio interview, usually on Discord.
In the audio interview, the interviewer will almost always ask you the same questions as in the questionnaire, but in different situations. For example:
You were in an action and got knocked out. You notice there’s a doctor nearby and you know him. You’re alone. Can you talk to him on the mic so he can give you a “tratas”?
Ps: obviously the answer is no.
Another question they really like to ask is what meta gaming is. An example of this is simply you playing with a friend while you’re both on Discord. Or watching your enemy via a live stream on Twitch. That’s meta gaming.
Some cities also have special rules related to times of day and what you can or can’t do. Pay close attention to that. It’s important.
Other than that, there’s nothing complicated. Just be logical. Don’t do what you wouldn’t do in real life. It’s that simple. Treat the game as something real. When you go AFK, you were meditating. When you relog, you went to have some tea. Fell under the map? Then you limbo’d. And so on…
Drive carefully, pay attention to pedestrians and other cars. If you flip your car, remember to lie on the ground and call a mechanic because no one is made of steel.
