Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage play released in 2016 by J.K. Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter, together with Jack Thorne and John Tiffany.
The play is divided into two parts and is inspired by the Deathly Hallows section, only set 22 years after those events.
The story shows Harry Potter working at the Ministry of Magic (as we saw in the final scene of the original film), together with his son, Albus Potter.
A book about this episode was also published in the same year.
Up to the present date, a film adaptation of this play has never been discussed. Because of that, fans made a poster for the much‑desired film, along with a trailer showing how they imagine it would be, in the form of a fanfiction.
As a big fan myself, I very much support a continuation of Harry Potter with the children of the main protagonists, such as Albus Potter, Hugo Granger-Weasley, and Rose Granger-Weasley.
