There are lots of brands, like ROG, Asus… and then there’s the choice of processor, between AMD Ryzen or Intel Core… the choice is really hard. But my main criteria are the graphics card and the cooling system. With the Asus Nitro 5 for example, I did some research and saw that it has a lot of overheating issues. The GPUs in the models are actually pretty good. I landed on a 3050 Mobile for a really reasonable price. What scares me is this: since it’s a laptop, there’s no way to upgrade the graphics card later. If I’m not mistaken, the only things you can change are the SSD and the RAM.
I also saw an option with an RTX 5070 that I thought was really cool.
I’d like to know if you have any good options to recommend, with a good graphics card with ray tracing that doesn’t get too hot during long Battlefield or Call of Duty sessions, for example.
