I’ve had an Xbox One here at home for a year. It always worked fine until last week, when it started freezing out of nowhere. From what I’ve been able to test, it happens a lot in games with very large open-world-style maps, lots of detail. And now it’s even started happening when just trying to start up the Xbox.
I’ve already checked my connection. I’ve already cleared the cache and so far nothing. It’s not overheating either.
What else could it be?
The freezes aren’t continuous. If I stop doing a certain action, the freezing stops and the game goes back to running normally, but then as soon as I walk around or move the mouse quickly to the side, it starts freezing again. Sometimes it’s enough just to type something on the screen. Like on the save screen, or when typing the Wi‑Fi password.
