I’m kind of out of the loop with hardware these days. I don’t really know how parts are sold now. I’ve always gamed on PC and almost always used AMD GPUs, because when you compared them, AMD models had more VRAM and were a bit cheaper than the competitor.
But I’ve noticed that RTX has introduced some new technologies, and the one I liked the most — and that also caused a lot of controversy — is DLSS5. In my opinion, it makes games look much more realistic and beautiful.
I don’t know if AMD has any technology like that?
I tested a DLSS5 mod for AMD that I found for AMD, and the tech actually works, but the problem is that when you turn it on, your FPS immediately drop by half. But maybe that’s normal?
