This has already become Stone Age stuff. Same as vinyl records, flash drives, etc… I don’t give it even 5 years before all broadcast TV channels go bankrupt.
Most of the good stuff we already watch on YouTube. For those who like science, there’s the channel “Ciência Todo Dia” (Science Every Day). For cooking, there’s a huge number of channels. Same for cartoon channels for kids.
In the future, we’ll still need a big screen in the middle of the wall, of course. But it won’t be used for broadcast TV channels anymore.
Proof of this: look at the streets in your city and see how many Sky antennas there are on the rooftops.
Now they use them to make tables.
