I wanted to learn game development and focus on it

I see a lot of people starting out and making it work. A lot of people selling on Steam.

I already have a good foundation in programming. I’m not a beginner. I’ve been programming in C++ for years. I learn new languages easily and the internet is full of material.

I’ve already done a lot of stuff for the MU Online community. I also program in Lua. I’ve made things for Roblox and FiveM. Anyway… I know the backend, the problem is really the front end. Design, etc.

Do you think it’s worth signing up for some course, or is it better if I just take care of the backend and look for other people who share my interests but have different skills?

I’d like to make some old‑school, top‑down games, only more modern, with good graphics, a good story, and then put them on Steam.

I think it would be interesting for you to take a course, yes. On Alura there are several, such as game design, programming, etc.
