My old hard drive was having problems and ended up dying after I heard one “click”. I couldn’t recover anything from it, so I decided to invest in an SSD. I installed it normally, it’s screwed in properly and everything. The problem is that it doesn’t show up in Windows, only another SSD I already have. I’m not even sure if that’s really how you install an SSD — if it’s just plug it in and that’s it. If anyone has any idea what’s going on, I’d really appreciate it. The plan was to format this new SSD and migrate Windows and all my files to it, which are currently on another SSD that only has 20 GB of free space left at the moment.
