A modder called NessMods managed the feat of getting GTA IV to run on the PS2, a console from the 2000s running a much more modern and demanding game from 2008.
How was this possible?
Well… the guy basically ported GTA IV’s assets into RenderWare, the same engine used in GTA San Andreas. Thanks to that, you can play GTA IV perfectly on your PlayStation 2, which is probably lying in some drawer at home gathering dust.
But yeah, you’re probably saying this is old news, since they’re already selling GTA 6 and 7 for PS2 at the street market
