Having physical hardware really has become a thing of the past, huh man

In the gaming world, it seems like that whole thing of having something material, something physical, is over. The bigger, the better; the more RGB, the better, etc.

Nowadays, everything is already in the cloud. Want to play? Cloud. Want to watch a movie? Cloud. Passwords, payment records? All of that is available in the cloud. Our whole life is in the cloud. It seems like material things don’t matter anymore. Even the storage on the phone you have right now, it’s all in the cloud. Your whole life is there. Photos, contacts, notes… and all of that will be “there” forever.

From my point of view, I actually think this is very good. It’s very expensive to maintain gaming hardware. And if the 5090 on GeForce Now burns out, that’s their problem. I’ll keep paying the same amount.

Anyway. That’s the point.
