Do you play on a TV or on a gaming monitor?

Just one question here. I was looking at that gamer group on Facebook, and a lot of people there were playing on a TV and I kept wondering why, since they seemed to prefer it that way. But doesn’t playing on a TV bother your eyes a bit?

Like, on a gaming monitor you have several technologies that I don’t think a TV has. Unless I’m mistaken. Things like higher Hz, sharper image, and it’s made for you to sit really close. Whereas a TV is made for you to watch from far away, right? So why?

Taking the opportunity, a poll.

Where do you play?

Some smart TVs already have 120Hz,
G-Sync/FreeSync Premium, HDR and better brightness.
I think it’s really because of the versatility:
movies and series, PS5 or Xbox.
