The announcement of The Duskbloods was one of the biggest surprises of 2025, but the lack of news about FromSoftware’s next title worried fans. Recently, the game was absent from the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase and sparked rumors of a delay, but there is good news about the future of the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
A financial report released by Kadokawa, the company responsible for the studio, ensures that the schedule remains unchanged. In fact, this is confirmed in the document, which lists the game among the strategic releases planned for 2026 alongside Elden Ring Tarnished Edition.
Revealed as one of the first major exclusives for Nintendo’s new console, The Duskbloods drew attention for its dark premise and gothic atmosphere, reminiscent of Bloodborne’s theme. There is still little information about the game, but the content revealed so far indicates an experience focused on intense action with elements that combine PvE and PvP.
For now, details such as a specific release date and new images remain secret. If FromSoftware sticks to the disclosed plan, 2026 could mark one of the most important releases for the Switch 2.
